Program Manager

Description
PECI is looking for a Program Manager to be part of management team planning, implementing and administering Residential and Commercial HVAC Quality Maintenance and Quality Installation programs. These programs are complex and involve research, design, development, engineering and analysis, project management and implementation. These programs will play a critical role in the development of PECI’s future comprehensive HVAC offering; resulting in considerable growth opportunities for the company.
 
The desired candidate will have experience managing several large projects with multiple high-quality deliverables on tight and shifting deadlines. Strong organizational, collaborative, interpersonal, and adaptive management skills are a must. The ideal candidate will be performance-oriented with the ability to direct and energize others toward program goals and improvement. This position will manage direct reports, as well as direct resources in other functional areas toward attaining program goals. Strong budgeting and forecasting skills are highly desired.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Management of internal staff to coordinate, track and complete assignments to maintain peak program operations
  • Manage the completion of all client deliverables to be on time and of high quality
  • Prepare financial statements and analysis of program budget for senior management evaluation
  • Perform strategic analysis of all program reporting requirements to facilitate forecasting and optimize performance
  • Identify, design, improve and propose processes to ensure optimal performance
  • Integrate with other areas (non-reporting staff) to build effective relations and systems to support program needs
  • Build proper support systems to mine data, reports and trends to guide senior staff decision making
  • Respond to needs and direction of senior staff to support program, client and market changes
  • Effectively communicate program activities to Sr. Program Manager in a timely manner and collaborate on the decision making process for the program
 
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in consulting, project  or program management
  • Experience within the HVAC industry or familiarity with HVAC equipment and/or principles desired
  • The ability to effortlessly translate strategic direction into effective tactical operations
  • Exceptional fiscal stewardship of multiple, complex budgets
  • Proven ability to manage multiple staff resources with and without direct reporting responsibility
  • Dedication to mentor and develop direct report staff in their personal growth and career skills
  • A strong ability to manage and absorb technical details and information to contribute to a technical team and program
  • Ability to work under pressure, with energy and enthusiasm
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills; skilled in MS Office Suite, proficient in Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization and time management skills
  • Results oriented; able to multi-task in a dynamic work environment
