PECI is seeking a Program Manager to be part of the 2011 implementation and administration of PECI’s Light Commercial HVAC energy efficiency program that is designed to transform the HVAC market. The focus of this position will be to work closely with the Sr. Program Manager and Portland based Program Manager to deliver training for contractors, utility representatives, end-use customers, building owners and property managers. The position will also assist in the continuous improvement of training and enrollment materials and processes to ensure a successful implementation. The desired candidate will have the ability to maneuver quickly between big-picture design, implementation and coordination details. Experience managing multiple high-quality deliverables on tight, and shifting deadlines, in addition to strong organizational, collaborative, interpersonal and adaptive management skills are a must. The ideal candidate will be performance-oriented with the ability to direct and energize others toward program goals and improvement.
 
Key Responsibilities:  
  • Lead Program training with contractors, utility representatives, end-use customers, building owners, and property managers
  • Work closely with senior management and Portland based management to develop and continue strategic direction of program
  • Integrate with other areas (non-reporting) staff to build effective relations and systems to support program needs.
  • Manage the completion of all client deliverables to be on time and of high quality
  • Track Program savings goals and facilitate contractor activity to meet these goals
  • Identify, update existing and new program processes to ensure optimal performance and continuous improvement
  • Build effective relations and systems to support program needs
  • Respond to needs and direction of senior staff to support program, client and market changes
  • Perform other duties as assigned 
Requirements: 
  • Minimum of 3 years in program management is required
  • Bachelors degree is required, Masters degree highly desirable
  • Expert in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Access)
  • Practiced ability to communicate with a variety of different stakeholders
  • Demonstrated comfort level with highly technical concepts and quantitative analysis
  • Commitment to high-quality customer service and the ability to address customer issues/concerns
  • Superior organization and time management skills
  • Proven ability to think and communicate creatively and strategically
  • Flexibility to work with a variety of team members and dynamic project demands
  • Experience working under pressure and handling changing priorities
  • Experience with financial management
  • Proven ability to manage multiple staff resources with and without direct reporting responsibility
