The Program Manager is expected to, inter alia:
- Take the lead in the advocacy, communications and knowledge dissemination for the BCC MDTF
- Lead and oversee the production of the BCC MDTF’s annual work program, budget, progress reports, including financial progress and results indicators
- Be accountable for the quality and timeliness of advice to the client and stakeholders on the preparation of initiating briefs or concept notes and their submission to the Management Committee for approval prior to Bank endorsement
- Ensure that the preparation of documents for Policy Council and Management Committee meetings is undertaken in an organized and timely manner and with adherence to the Bank’s quality guidelines and expectations
- Assume accountability for the maintenance of the program accounts and monitoring of the financial needs of the BCC MDTF
- Lead the coordination work among donors, stakeholders, the Bank as trustee and the grant recipients and assure that the work is harmonized with CCSAP
- Lead the Secretariat team in coordination with the CMU and Sector Management
- Be accountable for the smooth, efficient and effective operations of the Secretariat on a day-to-day basis
- Provide technical advice to the various task teams as and when appropriate
