AWF is currently seeking a talented professional to drive planning and execution of conservation science strategies within AWF. Reporting to the Senior Director, Conservation Science the Program Manager, Conservation Planning will have the primary responsibility to provide programmatic and technical support to AWF’s Conservation Science unit. He/she will lead development and application of AWF conservation planning tools ranging from Heartland Conservation planning, macro and micro level land use zoning, support AWF monitoring and scoping efforts, and document lessons and best practices. The position holder will have strong knowledge of AWF’s Heartland Conservation Process and will engage all pillars in the African Heartlands Program. This position will be based in Nairobi, Kenya.
