The ICCT is a small, fast growing environmental NGO focused on addressing climate change and air pollution from the transportation sector. We work closely with governments in the top ten vehicle markets around the world (US, Europe, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, India, China, and South Korea) and serve as an international best practices center for air pollution and climate change emissions from the transportation sector.

We are seeking an energetic, self-directed person with excellent technical writing and analytical skills to build upon our existing program on air pollution from international shipping. The primary policy forum for this position over the next several years will be the International Maritime Organization in London. The IMO is currently considering a suite of policy options to address climate change emissions from international ships. The ICCT participates at the IMO as part of the United States delegation. The position will require frequent domestic and international travel, primarily to IMO meetings, policy and technical workshops, and marine conferences. This will be a new position; hence we are looking for someone with sufficient experience to build this program area.  Full job details online
