Program Intern

Program Intern

The Program Intern will work directly with RGGI Inc.’s Program Managers.  Program implementation areas could include the RGGI auctions, the RGGI emissions and allowance tracking system (RGGI COATS), offsets, electricity monitoring, and electricity sector and economic modeling. Potential tasks could include:

•             Tracking of energy sector and RGGI compliance entities developments

•             Performing database research and analysis with spreadsheet tools

•             Supporting and reviewing  program modeling analysis

•             Researching GHG emissions reduction programs policy mechanisms

•             Researching and supporting implementation of offsets protocols 

The internship is scheduled for June through August 2015, though the start and end dates of the internship are flexible. RGGI, Inc. will work with candidate to accommodate the intern’s class schedule, but expects that interns could commit to 15-20 hours per week.
