Program Director/Chief of Party, Protected Area Program

ARD, Inc. is accepting expressions of interest from qualified Program Implementation Unit Director candidates for upcoming USAID-funded Protected Areas Program in Colombia. The successful candidate will lead a multi-national team of senior technical specialists and support staff in implementing a range of technical assistance, training, and institutional support to targeted partners. Qualified candidates will have experience and expertise in one or more of the following areas:

-- Implementing projects of USAID or other international development cooperating agencies
-- Programmatic strategic planning
-- Long term environmental conservation of protected areas, biodiversity, National Parks strengthening
-- Institutional capacity building of environmental endowments or trusts
-- Familiarity with budgeting and financial analysis
-- Writing technical reports in English for donors/clients
--Bilingual in Spanish and English
