Program Director, France

You’ll be responsible for outreach to the fishery, supply chain and market sector, promoting the MSC brand and increasing support for the program across a broad range of interest groups, including fisheries, government representatives, retailers and partners in the NGO community.  You’ll be our spokesperson in France.

You’ll:

• be qualified to degree level or equivalent in life sciences, or any program with a strong link to sustainability topics;
• have demonstrable experience working at a senior level in a multi-stakeholder organisation, with the gravitas and confidence to gain the credibility and respect of colleagues, as well as external partners and stakeholders;
• have the confidence to speak publicly and represent the organisation at events and in the media space;
• have developed a good network in the sustainability stakeholders landscape in France;
• be knowledgeable about fisheries, resource sustainability issues and ecolabeling;
• have significant experience of motivating and managing staff and be able to foster a positive can-do mind set among your team.

The role is based in our conveniently located office in central Paris, with occasional international travel to visit colleagues.
