Description:
We are seeking a Production / Aquaculture Technician to join our Production Development staff in Columbus, New Mexico.
Make adjustments as needed to water flow
Document all adjustments made on pond operation
Generate a shift report on pond operation
Perform “running” maintenance as necessary
Document all near misses and investigate causes and remedies. Mix up media and manage inventory of chemicals required (shipping/receiving/requisitioning)
Monitor water chemistry and perform field analytical testing
Ability to operate heavy equipment (backhoe, grader, forklift, etc)
Light maintenance in a manufacturing environment
Comfortable working a rotating shift schedule
Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders
Previous agricultural experience
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
