As a Product Development Manager in Climate Change Risks and Opportunities you will be a key player in our Product Development team, able to work across the corporate and financial sectors. In this role and with the support of our Sales team, you will strengthen South Pole Group's (SPG) leading market position within the investor and corporate communities by establishing creative models and solutions based on the physical and financial risks and opportunities of climate change. In addition, you will create and maintain a strong link with universities and other institutions that can assist with world class data and research. Tasks and responsibilities
Create world leading solutions and products that enable corporates and investors to understand, measure and act on the physical and financial risks and opportunities of climate change
Drive the development of new products, methodologies and deliverables together with the Implementation team
Meet and exceed our demanding client's expectations
Develop compelling product overviews that summarise our new offering together with our Marketing, Portfolio and Implementation teams
Represent SPG in client meetings, at conferences and trade shows where appropriate
Establish and build on your strong research and data mining skills and relationships with universities and other leading institutions
Your profile
A university degree, ideally in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related disciplines
5+ years of product development experience
Strong track record in sustainability and climate change and its physical risks
Entrepreneurial and self motivated mindset, sense of responsibility and willingness to take initiative
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written command of English; German and/or an additional language is a strong plus
Enjoy working as part of a team and developing new ideas
UK/Swedish nationality or holder of a valid work permit is a must
