Description: groSolar's Procurement Division Sales Manager will be responsible for developing procurement/solar distribution customers in the New York/New England territory. The Sales Manager will assist in enhancing the lead generation and qualification process for the region, evaluate potential customers for procurement/solar distribution services, and sign customers for long-term relationships. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic industry with one of the pioneering leaders in solar. 

Location: Home office with appropriate access to the New York and New England markets. Regional travel is required to develop and maintain customer relationships.
Duties: • Conduct solar opportunity research and develop new procurement/solar distribution prospects.
• Identify and maintain prospect lists, status reports, and contact information.
• Log all communications with prospects and customers in CRM database.
• Analyze prospects' business models projected future requirements.
• Closing new procurement customers and signing contracts.
• Develop and support customers in the New York/New England territory.
• Coordinate customer leads and knowledge with the Company's EPC Division in order to take advantage of sales synergies.
Qualifications: Technical Requirements:
• Understanding of or ability to quickly learn grid-tied solar electric products design, installation, and sales.
• Strong math and computer skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and CRM databases.
• Understanding of general construction timelines.
• Understanding of electricity and electrical contracting.

Educational Requirements and Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Self starter.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work and flourish in a fast paced team environment.
