Process Permitting Consultant

Our client is looking for an experienced PPC consultant to join their team which is an established and leading environmental consultancy in Warwickshire. They have provided technical advice to the waste management industry for 20+ years.

You will be expected to providetechnical input into some or all of the following areas:

-Recovery, treatment, composting, incineration and landfill

-Hazardous, non hazardous, inert and clinical waste

-Waste strategy advice

-Planning applications and environmental impact assessments

-Environmental permits and exemptions

-Risk assessments

-Waste producer audits and environmental due diligence

-Waste characterisation

This is a very much hands-on role and you will be a key member within the company and be expected to play a proactiverole in company performance, management and the development of new business opportunities.

Key Requirements:

• Min relevant BSc  and ideally  MSc / Chartered status
• Min of 3-5 years experience in a similar role.  
• Working experience of waste management facilities and waste legislation
• Experience in preparing PPC and Environmental permits.
• Project Management experience within budget and time constraints
• Full driving license.
• Previous experience working with Quality Management Systems would be an advantage.
