Process Development
Vestas Blades A/S is an independent corporate business unit within Vestas Wind Systems A/S. Blades is responsible for the global production of wind turbine blades and we have factories in Europe, Asia and North America.
Process Development is responsible for the development of production processes and production documentation. This involves engaging with the Blades factories, Blades staff functions and Technology R&D, understanding problems and opportunities, participating in different for a such as category teams, lighthouse, etc., organizing production trials and presenting results, preparing and approving production documentation. The Process Development team consist of 10 employees based in Lem, Denmark and on the Isle of Wight, UK.
Responsibilities:
  • Initiate and drive process development in the finish and paint production area
  • Engineering change management tasks
  • Participate in supply chain category management teams
  • Networking with existing and potential business partners
  • Participate in Kaizen events and quality audits in the factories
Qualifications:
  • You are educated as an Chemical engineer or similar, and you have at least 2 years of experience within production engineering
  • You have experience with composite materials and preferable also a Six Sigma green belt
  • As a person you have drive, you are extroverted and have a team and customer minded attitude
  • You are intuitive and able to challenge the existing processes but you are also persistent whereby you carry your task through to the end
  • You pose good communication skills in both oral and written English

Additional information:
