Principal Specialist Marine Vacancy

Natural England is responsible for advising Government and industry on marine conservation issues in England’s territorial waters.  This is a significant time with important initiatives underway to improve the future health and quality of our seas, including extending the Marine Protected Areas network, developing our evidence base and providing advice on fishing and other marine operations at a national and local level. Our Marine Function works closely with partners and stakeholders to deliver our marine programme.

We currently have a Principal Specialist vacancy within our Marine Function. This is a senior post responsible for leading Natural England’s work externally and internally to promote the sustainable use and management of the marine environment. If you have substantial knowledge and experience of marine planning, policy and science, an underlying passion for the marine environment and can work closely with a range of partners and stakeholders for a sustainable future, we would like to hear from you.
