Ocean Associates, Inc. (OAI) is seeking a senior analyst to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Office of Protected Resources (OPR) in Seattle, Washington. This position will be responsible to assist OPR in carrying out some of its required functions related to the conservation and recovery of marine mammals under the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) and/or the Endangered Species Act (ESA). The specialist will assist existing OPR staff in developing analyses required to comply with NMFS’ National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) obligations regarding marine mammal management actions and will assist in the implementation of MMPA and ESA-related activities. The salary is $42.66 per hour. The contract is for full-time work, 40hrs/week.
