We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join Cambridge Environmental Assessments (CEA). CEA, part of ADAS UK Ltd, are specialists in regulatory environmental risk assessments for chemicals, providing strategic support for product registrations across Europe. 
The role will drive the business development of REACH regulatory consultancy in the EU and deliver high level consultancy in this area.
Candidates will:
• Lead the growth and business development of CEA’s REACH regulatory consultancy business in the EU 
• Sell consultancy through developing relationships with key European clients including seeking and increasing opportunities with new clients
• Account manage key EU clients 
• Lead technical and high level REACH consultancy support including preparation of REACH dossiers and other regulatory documents
• Manage contracts for key EU clients
• Be responsible for the quality of the REACH regulatory offer to EU clients
• Provide technical support to other staff with regard to relevant areas of the chemical and associated industries
• Attend relevant conferences and meetings to develop ADAS/CEA’s profile within the European Chemical Industry

Our Requirements
You will have: 

• A degree or equivalent in chemistry or a related discipline
• At least 5 years’ experience in a chemical based industry or regulatory background
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of the REACH legislation, how compliance can be achieved and preferably understanding of other industrial chemical legislation (e.g. CLP/GHS) 
• Experience in the preparation of dossiers in the chemical industry
• At least 2 years’ business development experience in developing and expanding into new markets
• At least 2 years’ sales experience in negotiating with clients, promoting the business at commercial exhibitions, marketing and promotional activities 
• Sound track record of managing contracts
• Experience in presenting to a variety of audiences on legislative issues 
• Basic understanding of Safety Data Sheets and the related legal issues
• Full driving licence
