Principal Environmental Planning Consultant (EIA)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Planner to join the Environmental Planning Department with this established consultancy in Warwickshire. With over twenty years of successfully delivering tailored environmental solutions to their clients, you will be joining a team of specialists and a company able to support you in your role and career development.

As a Senior / Principal Planning Consultant you will provide technical support and direction to the Planning Department and manage a variety of multidisciplinary projects. Projects you will be involved in may include planning policy and legislation, EIA preparation, waste management licensing and IPPC applications, risk assessment and due diligence.

To be successful in this position you will have a minimum of MSc qualifications, planning and/or EIA & consultancy experience (min 3-5 years for the Senior appointment and min 8-10 years for the Principal level) and project management experience including budgeting & financial control.

Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) is desirable as is knowledge of the minerals and waste sector.
