Our client is an innovative services company that is rapidly expanding. As a result of this an exciting vacancy has arisen for an experienced environmental consultant, who can demonstrate a flair for developing new business, and a track record of project delivery. The main responsibilities of this role will include developing new business, cultivating and managing customer interfaces, preparing high quality proposals, providing technical consultancy, and producing highly technical reports. You will need to have an established reputation in one or more of the following areas: strategic planning, waste management, decommissioning studies, environmental regulation/policy/economics, options studies (e.g. BPEO, BPM), experience in EIA, SEA and EMS, compliance management, and public and stakeholder engagement. A very good first degree in a physical science or related numerate discipline is required along with a number of years experience in business development, project management and in working on environmental issues. In addition, you will be numerate with evidence of successful proposal preparation and substantial customer interaction. A full, clean UK driving licence is also essential.
