Salary: £35k - £40k + possible of more based on profit share scheme

Green Ecology are looking for an individual with considerable experience to join their team as a Principal Ecologist. This unique role offers the pay of a large corporate firm, a variety of interesting work and a real chance to help develop a team of like minded ecologists. Yet there is no working weekends, weeks away on wind farms or weeks on end sat behind a PC without a chance to be out doing what you love to do and what you have developed real skills to do. This is a company where people matter and work-life balance is not ignored but encouraged.

This opportunity is different from others out there, as the current owner is looking for someone to work alongside him to help grow the company through these exciting times. The owner has a strong commercial background and the company is growing through this leadership yet he is looking for a technical sidekick to help with the companies growth. Developing junior staff, reassuring clients and technical advice would all be key roles alongside managing your own projects and carrying out your own field work, where you see fit.

The role comes with a lot of autonomy, flexible hours and a strong support system.
