Principal Ecologist - Glamorgan

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Ecologist to join our highly regarded and expanding team.

The successful candidate will report to the Team Leader and be responsible for undertaking habitat and species surveys, producing survey reports, designing appropriate mitigation, assisting in the general workload and project delivery of the ecology team. You will assist with the design and planning of surveys and the preparation of EPS development licenses.

You will be expected to have an Honours degree in Ecology or related subject and it’s preferable you have experience with in a consultancy environment.  With excellent written communication and IT skills you are competent in undertaking Phase 1 Habitat Surveys and producing ecological survey reports. It’s essential that you have a flexible approach with a willingness to carry out surveys during unsociable and irregular hours and at times away from the office base.
