This recruiter is a pioneering business with an outstanding track record creating value in the sustainable energy and low carbon markets. It works closely with major companies worldwide, establishing partnerships to turn our clients’ climate change liabilities into economic, social and environmental assets. 
The role is to deliver the technical inputs and project manage a range of sustainable energy projects and to
undertake targeted business development activities to support the acquisition of new work. The focus
for project work and business development will be in low and zero carbon development and
sustainability of new developments but may also include carbon management, particularly that related
to the built environment. The development of new business will be a key component of this role.
Candiates will need:
- A first degree in engineering, environmental science or equivalent
- A Masters or other post graduate qualification
- Sound technical knowledge of energy use in buildings and sustainable energy generation technologies
- At least five years experience
- Proven project management and business development skills
- Technical experience in at least one of the following:
• Low energy building design
• Premises energy surveys
• CHP feasibility and design
• Renewable energy technology design and implementation
• Incorporating non-energy sustainability issues in building projects
There will be a need for this individual to travel internationally to look for new business and to implement company projects, in particular Africa and Asia and Europe and other emerging markets.
