Principal Aquatic Ecologist (Freshwater)

Primary Job Responsibilities

As a Principal Aquatic Ecologist you will be working on a range of projects in the public and private sectors. You will be leading projects and a team of freshwater scientists delivering low flow studies, impact assessments, and providing consultancy services. For this post the successful candidate will have a detailed understanding of Water Framework Directive, ideally taxonomic skills and be able undertake statistical analysis and interpretation of invertebrate and macrophyte data. In addition to the freshwater specialism the successful candidate will be involved in developing business opportunities.
