A rare opportunity has arisen within the press team at WWF - we are looking for a Press Officer to secure widespread, positive media coverage for us. You’ll need to demonstrate a genuine passion for the issues we address, and be able to devise and deliver creative PR campaigns that tell our story and help build our profile. The interests of WWF become broader by the year. We’re actively campaigning on a range of pressing issues, from the conservation of endangered species to the impact of everyday consumption on our global environment. What’s more, we’re renowned for the informed, authoritative and science-based approach that guides all of our work. As part of a busy and efficient team, you will be communicate with flair, confidence and enthusiasm. You'll be able to spot opportunities and challenges as they arise, have a strong news sense and will be comfortable dealing with all types of media from traditional print to social networks.
