Friends of the Earth has embarked on a search to recruit a new President to be based in Washington, D.C. The President will lead the organization which is uniquely positioned to play a critical role in addressing the many challenges facing our society. Friends of the Earth is looking for a visionary and passionate leader with a strong commitment to social and economic justice and environmental activism. Beyond providing internal organizational leadership, the President will represent the organization externally, expanding the reach and influence of Friends of the Earth with critical congressional, public, private and philanthropic leaders, as well as with the public at large and the media.
