Volunteer Opportunities with Predator Conservation Alliance
If you have time, energy or talents to share, please let us know. Below is a description of the volunteer help we need. We would love to hear from you.
Events and Promotions
Throughout the year we host a number of local events that highlight the wildlife-related works of scientists, authors, artists and film makers. These events allow us to share with the public the importance of predators.
Literature Review and Research
Our issues staff often enlist the help of students and those interested in scientific literature to carry out very specific projects related to predator research. Topics in the past have included "The Best Management Practices of the U.S. Forest Service" and the development of the Information Clearinghouse found on this site. This work is useful in helping our issues staff stay up to date on the most recent conservation science.
Office Help
There are a variety of projects available for those who would like to spend time in our office. Sometimes we just need someone to call to help us stuff envelopes. This type of volunteer work is great for people who want to learn what really happens in nonprofits on a day-to-day basis.
