The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) located at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Golden,Colorado is the nations primary laboratory for research, development and deployment of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies. A full time Postdoctoral Researcher position is available in NREL's) Hydrogen Technologies and Systems Center. The assignment is for one year with possible renewal for up to three years.
The candidate will work with a strong experimental research group conducting studies in the area of polymer electrolyte fuel cells. The group is engaged in several research projects that include development and characterization of advanced catalysts and electrode structures for cells, contaminant effects on fuel cell performance, anion exchange membranes, electrochemical studies, and 
manufacturing of membrane-electrode assembly components. The research will primarily support the effort in anion exchange membranes and related electrochemical studies, but will have exposure to several other projects.
Must be a recent Ph.D. graduate with in the last three years.

PhD in chemical engineering, chemistry,electrochemistry or material science. Experience in the area of polymer electrolyte fuel cells, electrochemistry and/or characterization. Record of publication/presentation in areas related to fuel cell projects.
