CSIRO Energy Technology seeks an innovative postdoctoral fellow to expand its scope of research into post- combustion CO2 capture, to develop novel concepts for enhanced separation processes for use in the capture of CO2 from coal fired power stations.

Location:  CSIRO Energy Centre, Newcastle, New South Wales

Salary:     $75K - $82K per annum plus up to 15.4% superannuation

Requirements of the successful candidate will include:

• A PhD in relevant field of chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry or physics.
• Research experience and knowledge of separation processes, in particular membrane processes, and their field of use.
• Sound experimental and theoretical skills and a demonstrated understanding of fundamental and practical aspects of relevant area of research.
