We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Post Doctoral Fellow to take an active role in developing and executing scientific strategies that enable us to reach our scientific goals.

On a day-to-day basis you will be involved in the assembly of dye-sensitized solar cells and their characterization using established procedures (e.g. screen-printing, back-filling, spectral response analysis, detailed optical analysis, performance evaluation under simulated sunlight). You will also play an active role in designing and establishing novel experimental set-ups and procedures targeted at the characterization of dye-sensitized solar cells, such as IMVS/IMPS spectroscopy and charge extraction experiments.

Location: Clayton, Victoria
Salary: $78K to $85K plus up to 15.4% Superannuation, effective from 5 July 2012

To be successful you will have:

  • A PhD in the area of dye-sensitized solar cells or related areas. Owing to terms of the fellowship, candidates must not have more than 3 years relevant Post-Doctoral
  • Demonstrated research experience in the area of dye-sensitized solar cells.
  • Demonstrated research experience in photovoltaic characterization techniques such as IMVS, IMPS, charge extraction and impedance spectroscopy.
  • Experience in the development and evaluation of novel redox mediators for dye-sensitized solar cells
