The Baltic Nest Institute (BNI) at the Stockholm Resilience Centre announces a two-year postdoc position within the frame of the newly founded centre Baltic Sea Adaptive Management, BEAM.

The successful candidate will further be part of the newly formed Centre of Excellence “The Nordic Centre for Research on Marine Ecosystems and Resources under Climate Change" funded by Nordforsk.

The position is aimed to apply advanced statistical tools to test for trends, regime shifts, early warning indicators and thresholds in the Baltic Sea ecosystem using long-term monitoring data. 
 
The position requires a person with a Ph.D., with good statistical knowledge and good skills in ecological theory. The successful candidate will contribute to BEAM by providing thresholds and targets of ecosystem indicators, which are required for ecosystem-based management. Past experience in time-series analysis and ecosystem functioning is necessary. 
 
The position will be based at Baltic Nest Institute, Stockholm Resilience Centre.

Terms of Employment
The position is a two-year full-time employment. Starting date to be determined.
