Based in the Penang offices of WorldFish, you will provide support to the center’s research programme on climate change, with a focus on designing and implementing impact assessment programmes related to climate change vulnerability, adaptation and mitigation in aquatic agricultural systems. You will have a PhD in economics, specializing in agricultural, natural resource, environmental or ecological economics in a rural development context. Ability to work in partnership with natural scientists and non-economist social scientists is essential, as are strong quantitative analysis skills. Experience of aquaculture or fisheries systems is an advantage, but not essential. The position requires extensive travel to WorldFish offices and research sites in Africa, Asia and the Pacific.
