Within this general profile (MARINE GEOSCIENCES AND GLOBAL CHANGE), we are looking for a candidate to work under the framework of the research project entitled: CGL2011-30302 POSTGLACIAL AND CLIMATIC EVOLUTION OF THE SHELF OFF THE GUADIANA RIVER. The goal of this project is to reconstruct the postglacial evolution of the Guadiana Shelf, by relating the different depositional systems (incised valleys, shallow-marine deposits) with the leading influence of eustatic sea-level changes during the postglacial transgression and of climatically-induced changes in sediment supply during the Holocene Highstand.
