In this role you will be working in our Portfolio Management team and you will be responsible for overseeing and developing business for the sales of carbon credits and renewable energy solutions. You will work closely with our Emission Reduction Projects and Marketing teams to draft proposals in order to meet clients Corporate Social Responsibility and emission reduction needs. Furthermore, you will participate in events to create new business opportunities and you will be involved in the coordination of tradings and in the acquisition of new emission reduction projects.
Tasks and responsibilities
Draft written proposals for carbon credits
Introduce South Pole Group's services to potential clients
Coordinate the offering process in terms of content and timeline
Draft framework agreements for the acquisition of new emission reduction projects
Negotiate and draft project deals contracts
Oversee running clients contracts and support in the delivery and accounting processes
Client acquisition, including attendance to exhibitions and other corporate events
Understand clients needs, gather market intelligence and identify industry trends
Your profile
University degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in Business Administration, Economics, Environmental Science or similar
2-4 years working experience in carbon or environmental markets, ideally both voluntary and compliance
Experience in drafting proposals for offsetting strategies of private companies
Excellent written and oral command of Spanish and English. Portuguese or French skills are considered a plus
Ability to work autonomously as well as within a larger team
Strong track record in meeting customer needs
Excellent communication skills
Colombian citizenship is preferred
