Summary: The Sierra Club seeks a creative and experienced Polling and Research Strategist with a proven record for planning, coordinating, analyzing and presenting polling and research to help guide communications strategy and messaging for the nation’s largest and most effective grassroots environmental organization. The Polling and Research Strategist is an exciting new position on our team that will work closely with the national press secretary and communications director to develop polling and research strategy and oversee projects with vendors, pollsters and coalition partners. The ideal candidate is not afraid of being assertive with vendors and partners, has strong professional experience with polling and research and can think big about Club strategy. A good understanding of media strategy and mechanics is a plus - the ability to distill data into understandable language is a must. Candidates should be comfortable meeting deadlines and thinking on their feet to solve problems and issues. They should enjoy working in collaboration and as a part of a strong communications team and bring a passion for the environment, politics and policy to their work.
