Duties

1. Assist in the preparation of policy advice related to international climate change to Government, including reports, briefs, ministerial correspondence and cabinet submissions;

 

2. Undertake research and analysis, and monitor new information sources to ensure the best available information is included in the Department's policy briefs;

 

3. Contribute to the performance of the work unit and its achievements against stated business goals;

 

4. Build and maintain effective relationships with key domestic and international stakeholders; and

 

5. Provide support and contribute to domestic and international meetings on international climate change policy.
