Reporting to the Policy Development Director, the Policy Officer will provide policy development support to the Standards and Licensing department and thereby assist the MSC in ensuring overall programme effectiveness and credibility.

The post holder will assist with the development, implementation and evaluation of MSC policies related to the certification programmes and interpretation of MSC's Fisheries and Chain of Custody Standards. This will include undertaking research and analysis into issues relevant to MSC's diverse stakeholder groups, contributing to the design of research projects and drafting internal and external papers and reports.
