The Policy Intern’s role is to support the development of The Registry’s GHG accounting policy. The primary responsibilities are outlined below. The Registry offers a hands-on, fast-paced work environment. This position provides the opportunity to contribute to a team playing a leading role in managing North America’s impact on climate change. Primary Responsibilities Develop a White Paper on a Current GHG Accounting Issue
Support Development of Regional-level GHG Accounting Guidance
Support Launch of GHG Regulation Clearinghouse Website

Characteristics
Compensation Internships are unpaid, school credit may be available. A commitment of 15-20 hours per week is expected. A subsidy of up to $130/month towards commuting costs is available. Interns are expected to work primarily at The Registry’s offices in Downtown Los Angeles.
