Description

IEEP is seeking a policy analyst to join the Biodiversity team, to help with our work on the development and implementation of EU biodiversity policy.

A candidate is sought with a good knowledge of EU biodiversity conservation issues and related policies, an ability to carry out desk research and excellent writing skills in English.

This will be a 1-year contract, ideally to be based in Brussels, which may be extended depending on performance and our success in acquiring projects.

Appointment grade and salary

 

It is envisaged that the postholder will be appointed at a Policy Analyst Grade 1 or 2 level, with a Gross Annual Salary in the range of €28,000 - €31,500 (or £22,000 - £25,000 if based in London). Candidates with more experience than envisaged may also be considered, and offered a position according to terms outside the grade and salary range above.
