Policy & Advocacy Support Officer

The Ramblers is looking to recruit a skilled and experienced individual to help the Ramblers create a country designed for walking.

This wide-ranging role will be involve monitoring and coordinating our response to changes to public rights of way, as well as supporting our policy and advocacy work.

Essential Requirements include:

• Data management experience, and familiarity with database software
• Team player, with demonstrable ability to work collaboratively across an organisation
• Strong research and analytical skills, with ability to pay attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communicator, with proven writing ability
• Experience of developing and managing relationships with external stakeholders
• Experience of working with and supporting volunteers
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with ability to manage your own workload and to work independently
• Flexible and responsive, with ability to switch focus and support colleagues on urgent priorities
