Major Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- executing projects within the Kyoto umbrella like GHG accounting, carbon footprint;
- executing and managing CDM/JI validation and verification assignments;
- executing and managing verification under voluntary schemes;
- providing global support and training in the relevant specialized technical area within the DNV global Climate Change Services team;
- reporting to climate change team manager (Med BU).

Qualifications

- expansive technical and scientific background on a masters level, such as energy, chemical or similar education;
- 4 years or more of working experience climate change related work, or - 4 years or more of working experience on the energy or Oil & gas sector
- excellent English language and writing skills;
- ability to work under pressure and with simultaneous tasks;
- willingness to travel abroad for short assignments;
- team - oriented, quick learner, generous in knowledge -sharing & experience and committed to further developing DNV’s profile & visibility within the global climate change markets;
- candidates must be European residents. Should this not be the case, please refrain from applying;
Advantages, but not pre-requisities:
- a background in Corporate GHG Inventory Verification, CDM, JI and emissions trading verification.
