Pink Pigeon Recovery Project Coordinator

The Mauritian Wildlife Foundation (MWF) is currently accepting applicants for the post of Pink Pigeon Project Coordinator.

The position is field based, although office work will form a substantial part of the work load. The ability to manage, train, motivate and co-ordinate a team (around 12) of staff and volunteers monitoring the birds is required. Experience in bird handling, ringing, predator control and disease management is also required. A BSc in Conservation, Ecology, Zoology or related subject is a minimum qualification - as is five years field experience.

The contract  is for 24 months with an option to renew for further 12 month periods if desired by both parties to the contract.
