The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the nation’s largest animal advocacy organization, is seeking a Manager for its Pets for Life (PFL) program.  This position will oversee all aspects of the PFL program in Philadelphia, maintaining current and establishing new community partnerships; organizing and managing ongoing community outreach and events; managing staff, consultants and volunteer programs; coordinating dog training classes and pet care services/resources including spay/neuter and implementing data collection and measurements of the program.  Responsibilities also include serving as a spokesperson for PFL Philadelphia and working with others within The HSUS to further the program.  A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and one to three years experience in community advocacy or campaigning is highly desired. The ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills and experience in partnership-building and networking.
