Within our Local Environmental Quality portfolio we operate programmes and contracts across Scotland and work with various partner agencies and clients. This includes the People and Places initiative which brings about an improvement in the cleanliness and quality of the environment on publicly accessible land and the provision of various services under contract to address litter and flytipping issues. A vacancy has arisen for an individual to join our Local Environmental Quality team to assist in the development, implementation and promotion of these services.

Applications are sought from candidates who feel that they have the necessary experience and qualifications to undertake this role. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of and have worked on local environmental quality issues. A track record of partnership working and developing new relationships would be an advantage together with excellent report writing skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.

This is a fixed term appointment for 1 year.
