This is a rare opportunity for an experienced payroll officer to put your skills to good use for the planet.

Get involved in Australia’s leading environmental campaigning organisation and make a real difference. As an independent global not-for-profit organisation, we work to ensure a just, peaceful and sustainable environment for future generations.

As Payroll Officer you will be responsible for all Greenpeace payroll functions for our staff in Australia, PNG, Fiji and the Solomon Islands as well as for the Australian ship crew. You will have experience using payroll software, preferably Rockfast Revelation, and knowledge of payroll and taxation legislation. You will also have high level attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure and excellent communication skills.

As well as the opportunity to make a difference on crucial issues, Greenpeace offers employees a supportive work environment and a real commitment to life/work balance. We also encourage staff to develop new skills, take on challenges and get involved in the wider organisation.

This position is part time (21hrs per week), based in Sydney. Closing date for applications is 15th March 2010. Interviews are expected to take place between 17th & 19th March 2010.
