Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Natural Environment Partnership Partnership Manager Salary band £31,025 - £32,732 for a two year fixed term post (37 hours per week, job share considered). There may be an opportunity to extend the post for a further year subject to funding. Based in Aylesbury, hosted by Buckinghamshire County Council Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Natural Environment Partnership (the NEP) was established in 2013 to support and promote a high quality, resilient natural environment in Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes. The NEP’s ambition is that the natural environment is placed at the heart of local decision making and that nature is valued and cared for - for its own sake, for the way that it enriches people’s lives and for the way that it sustains livelihoods and the local economy. We now have a vacancy for a Partnership Manager to support the development of the NEP and to engage and motivate a wide range of partners in the development and delivery of a Strategic Action Plan for the natural environment of Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes. A sound understanding of the natural environment is necessary as is an ability to work in partnership with business, local authorities, non-governmental organisations, the public, and other partnerships with different agendas. The ability to communicate well, manage multi-partner projects and to be flexible and adaptable will be important.
