Description

In Phase 1 of the CS WASH Fund in 2012, Live & Learn produced a set of community and school behaviour change materials. These have now been in use for roughly two years in Fiji, Vanuatu, PNG and Solomon Islands.  See: http://www.livelearn.org/resources/wash-resources-guide

In the current Phase 2, existing materials will be revised and improved, identifying gaps in information and reworking the content. There are also several new complementary materials to be produced, potentially including menstrual hygiene management, a Healthy Schools manual, and a media guide. Target audiences and intended outcomes for the materials have been identified, to achieve program objectives and responding to the existing resource gaps in the Pacific WASH sector. Coordination with partners to target needs and avoid duplication will be important, as will be moving beyond ‘knowledge’ in order to ensure effective behaviour change.

We are now seeking a highly skilled writer to lead the coordination and development of these resources and play a vital role in enhancing Live & Learn’s programs and improving WASH in the Pacific.

Applications close January 21, 2016.
