The Oyster Conservation Coordinator will assist the Director of Marine Science & Conservation with all aspects of oyster conservation activities.  The primary responsibilities will be to coordinate a community volunteer program for growing oysters on private docks and to assist in restoration activities.  Tasks include shell processing, hatchery assistance, reef monitoring, volunteer coordination and training, data collection, tracking of program results, and formulating reports.  Some tasks require physical exertion and occasional work in the water.  Strong interpersonal skills and excellent organizational skills are essential. 

This is a fifteen week (June to mid-September) full-time (35 hours/week) position based out of the Great Bay Office in Newmarket, NH.  Position reports to the Director of Marine Science & Conservation.
