The Oyster Conservation Coordinator will effectively train volunteers to grow and measure oysters on their private docks.  Responsibilities include coordination of volunteer training and data collection activities, tracking the results of oyster survival and growth and posting data results on website.  Coordinator will provide technical assistance; assist with local oyster reef-building project, which will require small boat operation and shell handling; assist with reef monitoring activities, which will require snorkeling.  Strong interpersonal skills and excellent organizational skills are essential.  This is a short-term (June to Nov) part-time (approx 14 hours/week) position, based out of the Great Bay Office in Newmarket, NH.  Position reports to the Director of Marine Science & Conservation.
