We presently have a vacancy for an installer to join our team in Oxford. We are looking for a positive and motivated individual with proven construction industry experience. The job offers plenty of opportunity for the right individual to grow in the role and create a successful career for themselves.

JOB DESCRIPTION
•    Participate in the installation of solar hot water and PV systems within a team.
•    Liaise with a range of clients during project delivery.
•    Assist with procurement and waste disposal.
•    Actively look for ways to assist colleagues

We are particularly interested to hear from applicants with electrical or roofing skills but the successful candidate will ideally have skills and experience in the following areas:

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 
Essential 
•    Practical experience of roofing/plumbing/electrical and building works (Minimum 2 years on site experience).
•    NVQ level 2 qualification in a construction trade or equivalent
•    Good communication skills.
•    Proven ability to work in a team.
•    Problem solving skills.
•    Ability to manage your own time effectively.

Highly Desirable 
•    Knowledge of solar thermal and electric systems
•    CSCS card
•    Working at Heights training
•    Asbestos awareness and abrasive wheel training
•    1st Aid qualification

CHARACTER
Essential 
•    Proven ability to work as part of a team
•    Proven track record in customer care
•    Proactive attitude to problem solving
•    Self-confident 
•    Clear headed under pressure

OTHER
Essential
•    Able to work a range of hours with occasional overnight stays
•    Enthusiasm for renewable energies
•    Full clean driving license.

•    A starting salary of £16k-24k depending on experience (for a 45 hour week inc. breaks).
