Outreach Engagement Officer (Ref: OEOHI).

SJC SCALE AP4 (£23,232 – £25,716) plus 8% pension contribution

Based in Oban (other locations will be considered)

 Changeworks exists to improve quality of life and to protect the environment. We work with passion, integrity and in collaboration to develop and deliver innovative projects and businesses in energy, waste and transport that inspire and empower people and communities to make a difference.

You will be an enthusiastic self-starter in order to represent the advice centre in your area and provide local services to householders, community groups and businesses.

In order to deliver support on energy efficiency, renewable energy and lower carbon personal transport, you will be motivated, able to enthuse others and be confident about engaging with diverse sections of the community. Full and extensive energy advice training will be provided.

This is an opportunity for you to deliver real carbon savings across the whole community through events, home visits and providing information and support. This will include supporting the Energy Assistance Package. You will be highly organised, able to prioritise your workload and be an excellent communicator to meet the demands of this varied, public facing role. An understanding of, and a passion for sustainable energy is desirable.
