Our four Scottish gardens – Benmore, Dawyck, Logan and ‘The Botanics’ in Edinburgh – attract over a million visitors every year. Together, these gardens comprise one of the richest plant collections on earth.

We are looking for an Outdoor Learning Officer to join our join our education team, where your primary focus will be to support the development and delivery of primary and secondary schools’ sessions outdoors, covering all four of our Gardens.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate their ability to excel at being able to deliver quality, engaging sessions for young people and teachers outdoors and it is essential that you have previous outdoor learning delivery experience.

This post would be considered as regulated work with children and/or adults at risk as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The successful candidate will therefore be required to be a PVG scheme member and undergo a scheme update prior to employment commencing.
